Shipping & logistics questions.
What if my order doesn’t fill a full container?
Less-than-Container-Load (LCL) shipments are supported via freight forwarder consolidation. Lead time at destination is 5–10 days longer than FCL due to LCL deconsolidation. We can also arrange shared-container shipments with other partners going to the same destination, splitting freight cost. Useful for pilot orders (20–50 units).
What if goods are damaged in transit?
Per the Incoterm: if risk passed to Buyer at FOB loading, damage in transit is a marine insurance claim (covered by your insurer or by us under CIF). We support claims with: pre-shipment QC photos, container loading photos, B/L copy, damage photos (you provide), and surveyor report. If damage results from packaging failure (verified by surveyor), we cover replacement at our cost regardless of Incoterm.
Can you ship to FBA / Amazon warehouses?
Yes — Amazon FBA / Walmart Fulfillment / Costco DC shipments are supported. We follow each marketplace’s labeling and palletization requirements (FNSKU labeling, individual poly-bag if required, pallet spec). Note that direct-to-FBA from China requires the buyer of record to be a US-registered entity; we ship to your US 3PL who forwards to FBA, or DDP via our consolidator partner.
What’s your lead time port-to-port?
Ocean transit (typical): Shanghai → Los Angeles 14–18 days, → New York 28–35 days, → Hamburg 30–38 days, → Sydney 18–24 days, → Tokyo 6–10 days, → Dubai 18–22 days. Air freight available for samples and urgent orders (3–5 days, expensive).
How do you handle customs documents?
For FOB/CIF: we handle Chinese export customs (declaration, certificate of origin). Buyer handles destination import customs. For DAP/DDP: we coordinate destination customs via our broker partner network (we have working relationships with brokers in US, EU, UK, AU, JP, GCC). HS code typically 9402.10 or 9403.20 depending on configuration. Free-sale certificate and manufacturer authorization issued within 48 hours of request for any destination.
